Creative Kids
Creative Kids is an art contest presented by The Hayneville Telephone Company that taps into the Creativity of Young Minds and Publishes The Winning Art Work in The Hayneville Telephone Directory Yellow Pages. The Program is facilitated in the first through third grades of Lowndes County Elementary Schools Participating in this Program.

- Okra Festival
- Event held in Burkeville at Annie Mae's Art Place on the last Saturday in August each year. Participants serving gumbo, okra and other regional foods. Local blues musician Sonny King performs. Local vendors and artists.

- Harvest Festival
- The Town of Hayneville coordinates this festival in the Hayneville Plaza.
